    In Greek mythology, Helle, daughter of Nephele and Athamas, was rescued by a flying golden ram. Helle fell from the ram into the Hellespont (which was renamed in her honor) and died. She bridged the Aegean Sea with the Black Sea.

    Winery visit

    Upon arrangement, we offer our guests a complimentary visit to a local winery to see all stages of wine production and to sample their varieties.

    Boat trip

    We offer our guests a complimentary 4 hour excursion on a traditional, 7m wooden boat to take in the beauty of the small islands surrounding the bay of Eretria. Water and snacks are provided. Pre-booking is essential.

    Yoga classes

    We offer exclusive yoga classes for an additional fee. These sessions are perfect for relaxation and enchasing your yoga practice in a unique and serene environment. Experience the tranquillity and rejuvenation of poolside yoga with our expert instructors.

    Our guests are able to get to Olivella in one of two ways:

    • Driving through Chalkida to reach the Villa
    • Catching a ferry from Oropos (with or without a vehicle) and driving to the Villa which is only 15 minutes away from the harbour

    • Olivella is surrounded by beautiful beaches (1km),
      mountainous areas (10km) and is in close proximity to the capital city of Evoia Island, Chalkida (25km) and is nestled between the towns of Amarinthos (4km) and Eretria (7km).

    • Our guests can enjoy their meals in nearby traditional taverns or restaurants(4-7km).

      One is also able to find freshly caught seafood, locally grown vegetables and fruits as well as delicious meat from the local farmers, in the grocery stores or small markets.

      Organized beach bars, water sports, spa and hairdressers can be found in the nearby hotels (1-2km).
